Crazy Little Queen at the Levéltár Piknik
The eighth annual Levéltár Piknik (Archives Picnic) will be held at the Archives of the City of Budapest, just a few steps away from the Göncz Árpád metro station. The picnic will once again be a great family event with music, a petting zoo, face painting, stamp and notebook making and a puppet show by László Vitéz.
Family and music programmes await you at Levéltár Piknik
Older children will get a behind-the-scenes look at our archives, take a tour of the archives, learn about the mysteries of genealogy, ride in the Budapest Time Machine and visit an early modern military camp with a weapons demonstration. This year more than 20 archives will be represented at the picnic, seven of them from abroad, so visitors can talk to archivists from Vienna, Sarajevo, Maribor or Zenta.
From 4 p.m., the stage will be taken over by great bands.
5.30 pm: Heep Freedom Uriah Heep Cover Band
7 pm: Crazy Little Queen Tribute Band
Crazy Little Queen Tribute Band is the country's most popular, most followed and most frequently performing Queen tribute band. They make you feel like you are flying back in time, attending a Queen show and feeling that magical atmosphere.
The Levéltár Piknik is free and open to the public, and everyone is welcome to the Archives in Budapest, on Saturday 31 May.
