Wine bar, bistro, small local restaurant or wine shop? At first we didn't know how to describe Van Boris, but we soon realised that we didn't have to. Because this is just a cool place, mainly for locals, but everyone is welcome, where you can just sit down and relax. You can have a coffee or a nice tea, something from their selection of quality spirits or a craft beer (they also have it on tap).

If you are hungry, we are sure that their snacks and dishes won't let you down. Try the duck mousse, the wild boar rilette, the Hermelin, the Boqueron or the amazing cheese selection. They also have delicious snacks, too, if you don't feel like having dinner there.

You can also choose from the finest chocolates, champagnes and so many different wines that we couldn't possibly list them all. Wine to go... wine not? 

From time to time they also organise events such as friendly small group wine tastings, so if you are staying in Budapest or are a regular visitor to our capital, it might be worth following Van Boris on Facebook - they could be your programme for a nice evening. Don't forget, there's wine too.

How to get there: From the city centre take bus no. 5 and get off at Fűrész utca. From there you can see Van Boris as it is literally just a few steps from the bus stop.
