A Magical Night at the Royal Palace of Gödöllő
Every summer in Hungary, something truly magical happens. For one night only, museums and cultural spots across the country throw open their doors after dark, inviting everyone in for a joyful, curiosity-filled evening of discovery, music, and fun. It's called Night of Museums (Múzeumok Éjszakája)—and if you're anywhere near Hungary on June 21, 2025, trust us: you’ll want to be part of it.
If you’re looking for the perfect place to spend your museum night, head just 30 minutes outside Budapest to the charming town of Gödöllő—home to one of Hungary’s most stunning treasures: the Gödöllő Royal Palace.
On June 21st, this Baroque palace (once the summer residence of Empress Elisabeth, aka "Sisi") transforms into a cultural wonderland filled with unforgettable experiences. Whether you're a history buff, music lover, or traveling with kids, the palace has something special just for you.
