Magic of Vivaldi - The Four Seasons

In 1725, exactly three hundred years ago, a special ship entered the port of Venice. On board was a shipment: Antonio Vivaldi’s freshly printed sheet music, The Four Seasons – a work that forever rewrote the history of music.

Three centuries later, in 2025, this event will be commemorated with a stunning, visual concert experience: “Magic of Vivaldi” – The Four Seasons.

In August, the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra and the Margaret Island Theatre will present a world premiere on Margaret Island: the latest joint work of conductor and director Tibor Bogányi and artist Ágnes Zászkaliczky, where music, visuals and dance come to life in unparalleled harmony. The production is a 3D multimedia performance set for an international tour, giving new meaning to Vivaldi’s timeless work.

The world of music is represented by the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, and the art of movement by the Budapest Dance Theatre, thus creating a journey of all arts for the audience – a concert experience that connects the past and the future.
