JAZZ and WINE weekend on Margaret Island

Jazz, wine and culinary experiences at the Margitsziget Theatre in the courtyard of the Water Tower.

After the huge success of 2024, the Hungarian Jazz Association and the Margitsziget Theatre are organizing the JAZZ and WINE Festival for the second time, one of the most special events of the season. On the occasion of the Pentecost weekend, in addition to the big concert on Sunday evening, smaller concerts and young performers also await the audience in the Kerengő of the Margaret Island Theatre, at the foot of the Water Tower. During the festival, formations formed from young talents of the Hungarian jazz world and the winners of the Jazz Showcase will perform and introduce themselves to the audience.

Among this year's performers at the gala concert on 8 June are the Miklós Lukács-Cimbiózis Trio, the Budapest Jazz Orchestra, the Malek Andrea Soulistic Band, the Roby Lakatos & Gipsy Jazz Band feat. Miri Lakatos and the Guitar Madness "Hommage a Gábor Szabó" formation featuring István Gyárfás, Attila Rieger and Gábor Szalay.
