Three Corners Hotel Anna Budapest 2025

New, Unique Hotels to Open in Budapest in 2025

People have long been curious about the beauty of Budapest, and this trend is likely to continue in the coming years and decades. In fact, with the boom in tourism, Budapest's hotel market will also grow in the coming years, writes Turizmus.com, citing a statement by international real estate services provider CBRE.

Nine new hotels and eight hundred new rooms are expected to open in the capital this year, and a further 3,700 rooms could be added on the basis of the investments currently visible - they write.

Let's see what hotels have opened and will open this year in Budapest

Three Corners Hotel Anna: opened its doors in the Palace District on April 10, fully renovated, colourful, youthful, automated and environmentally conscious accommodation awaits travellers.

Mamaison Hotel Chain Bridge: is expected to open its doors at the beginning of July. Located just steps from the Danube and Chain Bridge, the four-star superior hotel's interior design concept is inspired by the bohemian, cosmopolitan world of the 1930s.

Mamaison Vibe Hotel Budapest Downtown: This will be a youthful and trendy hotel expected to open in the second half of the year.

Radisson Collection Hotel Basilica Budapest: Opening in May, offering a magnificent view of St. Stephen's Basilica. The hotel will combine the capital's cultural heritage with modern luxury.

Triholding Group's new boutique hotel is expected to open in the last quarter of 2025 in the heart of Budapest, on Király Street. In addition to almost one hundred rooms, four stars and a special design, the concept also envisages a special cultural meeting point, uniquely connected to the energies of the city.

Jo&Joe: With its relaxed, youthful design, affordable prices, emphasis on communal spaces and vibrant community life, Jo&Joe is aimed primarily at guests who are adventurous and open to programmes and social experiences. It will have 91 rooms and is scheduled to open in August-September 2025.

BO53: After the BO33 and BO18 hotels, the owners are opening another four-star boutique hotel at 53 Csengery Street. BO53 will open its doors in September with eighty rooms, most of which have terraces.

TRIBE Budapest Airport will be a four-star hotel, opening in the second quarter of 2025, targeting business travellers, digital nomads and guests looking for stylish and comfortable short stays with more than 160 rooms.

You Are Hotel: Built from the former Stühmer chocolate factory and headquarters, this new hotel may also open this year on Szentkirályi Street. The hotel's 94 rooms will be characterized by elegance as well as youthful contrast.

Transforming needs

The CBRE statement points out that changing working habits are reducing the demand for office buildings, which are often converted into accommodation. This is not just the case for hotels: apartment hotels, which are suitable for long-term rentals, are becoming increasingly popular. In the coming years, hotel chains may also offer their guests high-quality luxury apartments (branded residences).

We still have to wait for the handover of the Gellért Hotel, the SO/ Budapest and the Klotild Palace St. Regis Budapest among the five-star hotels, but we hope to be able to report on them soon!
