If you want to know which hotels are the best in the world, look no further than Tripadvisor's annual ranking of the world's best places to stay, based on guest reviews. And as they point out, out of more than 8 million places, only less than 1 per cent achieve a 'Best of the Best' rating, so it really is a special accolade.

In the 2025 compilation, Hotel Moments Budapest was ranked the 13th best hotel in the world, while Hotel Vision Budapest was ranked 16th. In European terms, the ranking was even higher, with Hotel Moments ranking 3rd and Hotel Vision 4th.

The world's best pet-friendly hotels are in Budapest

What's more, Hotel Moments was voted the best pet-friendly hotel in the world, while Hotel Vision came second in the same category. So it is no exaggeration to say that our beautiful capital has the two best pet-friendly hotels in the world, which are well worth a visit when you are travelling with your furry friend.

There are more and more pet-friendly places in Budapest, such as restaurants and cafés where you can take your dog with you, and facilities such as dog adventure parks are also becoming more common. The ones in City Park, for example, are very good and very popular with people and dogs of all nationalities. You can find two near the junction of Ajtósi-Dürer row and Stefánia street and one on Hermina street. 

So, having found the perfect hotel, you can take your dog with you to many places and have a lot of fun together in Budapest.
