Wizz Air Announces Four New Destinations from Budapest

Europe’s most environmentally sustainable airline, Wizz Air announced four new direct flight destinations from Budapest as reported by turizmus.com. Starting in July, travelers can book flights to Bilbao (Spain), Wrocław (Poland), Gdańsk (Poland), and Vilnius (Lithuania) from Budapest’s 75 year-old Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The decision also makes the Hungarian capital more accessible for visitors.

With these new routes, the Hungarian carrier now offers flights from Budapest to over 70 airports in 33 countries, further solidifying its market-leading position in Hungary. The airline is adding a quarter of a million more seats annually, enriching the Budapest Airport network, which this summer will include 136 direct destinations. The decision comes just a few days after the announcement of new flights between Budapest and Mumbai, India.

With the addition of Bilbao, Wizz Air provides access to ten Spanish cities, extending to the picturesque northern Iberian Peninsula.

The addition of Wrocław and Gdańsk brings the total number of Polish cities directly accessible from Budapest to three, alongside Warsaw.

The new Budapest-Vilnius flight connects Hungary and Lithuania with a direct air link.

This is excellent  news for Polish, Baltic or Spanish potential tourists! Book your tickets now and start planning your summer adventures in Budapest!
