Dave Stewart, Co-Founder of Eurythmics, to Perform in Budapest
Dave Stewart, award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, producer, musical pioneer and co-founder of the world-famous duo Eurythmics, has announced a European tour for the summer of 2025. And yes, the tour is coming to Budapest on 29 July. Fronted by the amazing Australian singer Vanessa Amorosi, who is guaranteed to take this already stunning show to an even higher level. A revival of classics, spectacle, atmosphere, nostalgia and fresh energy in one concert series.
The 2023/24 Dave Stewart Eurythmics live shows have been a huge success in the UK, the US and across Europe. Now the tour continues with even more momentum, more cities, more energy and fans are guaranteed an unforgettable experience. This series of concerts is a musical journey back in time through the legendary songs of the Eurythmics, brought to the stage by Dave Stewart with a new sound and an all-female band of exceptional talent.
What to expect from the Dave Stewart Eurythmics live show?
With the blessing of Annie Lennox, her long-time bandmate who is no longer performing, Dave Stewart has spent the last two years touring the world at the head of an acclaimed live band, enchanting audiences in the UK, USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy and many other countries. Fans can now expect a lively live performance of some of the biggest Eurythmics hits - including evergreens such as Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), Here Comes the Rain Again, Would I Lie to You? and many more iconic songs.
Speaking about the upcoming shows, Dave Stewart said, "I can't wait to get back on stage with the fantastic Vanessa Amorosi and my wonderful band for these European shows. It has been a fantastic experience playing over 60 shows in the US and Europe over the last year or two and the audience response every night has been fantastic. It felt like being part of a collective celebration with these EURYTHMICS songs that I love to play and that have become part of people's lives.
The highly anticipated tour will kick off in Pori, Finland on 19 July 2025 and will visit eleven cities in total. The tour will also visit Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany and Switzerland.
