Blossoming Cherry Trees Show You the Real Beauty of Spring in Budapest
Visiting Budapest in the sunny springtime makes walking around the city a must, and if you do so, you will realise how beautiful our capital is at this time of year. The Japanese cherry trees are particularly stunning in April, so we highly recommend a visit to the Buda Castle - just follow the cherry blossom fans to the Tóth Árpád promenade, where the magic happens - or relax on a lesser-known small promenade with cherry trees next to the Allée shopping centre.
First, take a look at how beautiful these trees are at the Buda Castle, on the Tóth Árpád promenade.

They look also splendid from a bird's eye view.

But if you prefer a silent walk and much less people around you, we suggest you to visit the lesser known cherry tree promenade next to Allée shopping centre. Located just a short walk from Móricz Zsigmond körtér (the M4 metro line's stop has the same name by the way), this spot offers you some really beautiful cherry trees in bloom and some benches to relax on.
