After the great success of last year's Children's Day programme, the Margaret Island Theatre is organising its Children's Day event again this year. Come and get ready for adventure! Meet fairy tale creatures in the ogre swamp, peek down the rabbit hole with us and fire rockets at the aliens. 

The Children's Day event is linked to three special performances by Margaret Island Theatre. You can party with Martians in tune with E.T., the extraterrestrial movie soundtrack concert, make Fiona's jewellery for SHREK, THE MUSICAL and, if you're not careful, you could even turn into a giant card when you see the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland. 

The Children's Day programme also includes an adventure with members of the Budapest Medical Students' Association, who will playfully introduce young and old alike to the wonders of our bodies and the mysteries of medicine.

Colourful programmes for the kids

From 10:30 AM to 11:20 AM: Pepe Mano's Tales: Journeys around the Earth 

From 11:30 AM to 2 PM: Interactive children's activities with the Veled Kerek team 

From 2 PM to 3 PM: Lectures for children by ELTE astronomers

So when the kids ask you what you're doing for Children's Day this year, you already know the answer: visit Margaret Island and get ready for the fun.
